I believe this might be a very early and rare Case stag or, I believe bone. All I found is a patent number. I researched and have a few others helping but so far nothing close to this piece. This is a large antique spring assisted hunting pocket knife.Condition is nice and may be spectacular if it's older than I think. One small blade dent or twist.
Spring still has some spring to it. Lever works like it should. Nice red bone or stage. Feel free to educate me if you wish. Every item is a learning experience.I have my ideas hence my asking price. I strongly believe this is an extremely rare knife! This knife may not be on long. I had a fellow Ebayer that thought this could be a Japan piece from the 60's or so. I did research that area but found none close that made lean that way.
Seems to have alot more age and Japan was proud of marking their items forever. The brass does show up in Japan pieces but this seems more primitive and rough.I'm unconvinced still but leaning that way. Feel free and keep them coming. Someone knows I'm sure.
